I love doing family portraits, especially in those chilly seasons. It’s fun to see the families style themselves. Yes, that’s right. I don’t style the family portraits. I let my clients dress themselves and as you can see, they Never seem to fail.
These family portraits are super special to me because I’ve been photographing The Carpenter parents since the father’s 21st birthday. (You had to be there!) This kid Ivan has the most fun adventures, just look at his parents!
Let me show you my favorites:
A tip for photographers: Don’t try to capture the perfectly posed shots all the time. No one’s gonna have a good time. Be there to capture the moments that they’re gonna smile back on. After all, it’s our job to bring the memories back that will always play back in their minds. Thank you to Flippy and Michelle for such an amazing session with Ivan.
